you guys should play at club la vista in downtown
toledo, ohio. this club gets packed! every
weekend they have live music. i have been going
there about three weeks in a row now and it has
got to be the best latino night club in toledo!
the owner hector cordero is a class act. he knows
how to treat the people. i would recomend this
place highly! i was ther new years eve. and they
had 30 or 40 people waiting to get in! they have
bands every weekend. hope to see you there. the

La Vista
In reply to Ruben G's comments on La Vista, we
played there one time a few months ago. It is a
very nice place and Hector was an awesome dude,
like you said a real class act. If feasible
maybe we will see you there in the future. In
the meantime we are still playing in the metro
detroit area, saginaw, and pontiac for the next
few months. Thanx for checkin out our site and

Puro Party
Whasssup peoples, partied hard in Saginaw con
Tejano Sound Band last night and they were off
da hook. To remind everyone we are gigging in
Ann Arbor at Sabor Latino this Sunday the 22nd.

Texas the first week in February to finally
finish our project cd so hopefully we will
have "Hasta La Muerte" up for sale in late March

To anyone that doesn't know about a little club
in Ann Arbor, that place was off the hook!!!!
But any bands that want to play there are gonna
need a little reggaeton and duranguense in their
reportoire. We hit 'em con estilo elektricidad
and it was a hell of a time. Don't forget to

Well we jammed last night at Bongos Latino Club
in Pontiac and it was a nice homecoming. We had
a packed house and made several announcements
about finally finishing the cd. It is Monday
the 30th and we are enjoying 75 degree weather
here in San Antonio. We send much love back

Hey we have got great news for all of our family
and supporters. We are currently in
negotiations with Arco G records here in San
Antonio. For the people who know music, the
owner is Oscar Garcia. He helped out Grupo
Rodeo about 3 years ago at the Pontiac Mexican

Blue Diamond
Well it was another packed night at the Blue
Diamond Lounge in Detroit Michigan. We would
like to send a big shout out to Ramon Moya who
was in the sea of people. Oh yeah we definitely
cannot forget to thank Danny Vega for always
being a gracious host. For all of the Detroit
people thanx for one hell of a night and we hope
to see everyone at the Blue in April. Don't

Just to update to everyone about our dates,
February 18th has been cancelled. If you had
planned on coming to our gig this weekend our
plans have changed as we are gonna go and hang
our with Jaime Y Los Chamacos on Saturday in

Man Los Chamacos packed the house in Lansing
Michigan and in Toledo Ohio last weekend. The
shows were awesome!!!!!!! Them guys really know

Long Weekend
Well we had one hell of a road trip yall. We
started out at Margarita Rocks in Toledo Ohio on
Friday night, and I can't forget to send a shout

headed further west to Ft. Wayne Indiana and

awesome night. We are off for the next 3 to 4

Brownsville Texas
Well I am sadly sitting here in front of my
computer back in Pontiac Michigan. I just got
back from Jaime De Anda's wedding (Jaime Y Los
Chamacos) in Brownsville Texas. It was a

Well it has been a lil while since I last
updated so here goes. We would like to welcome
Mr. Rudy Moya to Elektricidad. He is our new
utility man filling in voids at bajo sexto,
accordion, and splitting the night with Vinnie
on lead vocals. We would also like to welcome a
newcomer to the band. His name is Pacheco and
he will be filling in accordion duties. Check

Sangre Nueva
Well how about that? Sangre Nueva is gettin
ready to celebrate its 35 year anniversary. Now
that is impressive to have had a band for that
long. You just don't see that anymore. I got
the privilege to jam with the New Blood Band
last night in Saginaw Michigan at the Players
club. I filled in for Neto Flores on
percussions while he was in Texas. Let me tell
you it was one hell of a night!!!! Don't forget

of a party out in Port Huron. A happy birthday

Blaze
We were definitely surprised at the reception we
received at Senor Blaze this past Saturday. We
stepped it up a notch and did it estilo
Elektricidad. There was some stiff competition
this saturday as Detroit had 3 gran bailes in
effect. We were told we may have had less than
80 people at the club when in fact we had a
turnout of over 200 people. We would like to
thank Kim and Paul for having us as we look
forward to working with them more. Don't forget
that this Friday we will be at Bongos Latino
Club here in our hometown Pontiac Michigan so we
wanna see all of our posse in da house!!!! We
are gonna celebrate Cinco De Mayo in
Elektricidad fashion!!! Hope to see yall
there. To Maria from midwest musica I have my
bro-in-law working on your link now so it will
